Today is the last day of the year 2015. I just get into my office and pour a mug of coffee. Actually it is the second one because I need coffee in order to work well in the morning.
I just wanted to wish people around the world a Happy New 2016. I hope everything good in the year 2016. Every year I’m getting older and hoping getting wiser with experience.
I have to write this as a reminder to Malaysians that not to follow or be like this guy. I took these pictures because he took my pictures first. He might post it on Facebook, Instagram and etc. I can do it, but thinking back I just post it here only. I’m not like other people like to find fame or popularity through those social media.
He acted like a maniac and keeps cursing at my car (not listening!). Haha… I just ignore people like that! Because I think people like that not worth to pay attention.
As you can see from the pictures above how rude he can be. If I’m not thinking clearly I might ram his “Kenari” car. But as a professional, I need to think about my reputation. I can’t taint my name or my family name just because of this RUDE Malay guy. I’m so ashamed with people like that.
People like him made my former colleague from America can’t stand staying in Malaysia. He even reminded to my colleague from The Philippines about Malaysian driving attitude. I felt ashamed but I know it is the truth. I have had been staying in Australia for almost 2 years and I like the way the Australian driving their vehicles and respect the pedestrians.
It’s been a while since I update this blog. I spend a lot of my time reading academic journals and books but I always find time to read novels. Sadly to say that now with Malaysia’s currency keeps plunging and everything keeps getting expensive. Thanks to GST and politic turmoil in Malaysia.
Even though I’m working and single but I feel the pressure of the Malaysian economy getting worse everyday. My job requires me to read a lot. So imagine that I need to buy books and the prices getting expensive in the US dollar but when I convert it to Ringgit immediately I feel that book so freaking expensive because Ringgit getting worse. (P/S: I’m not talking about the books only.)
Now when I see books that I wanted to buy I just go ahead and order them because I can’t wait the Malaysian currency to get better any time soon. I need books for my work and my guilty pleasure. I’m feeling like a squirrel because I keep buying books that I can afford and stacks them in the closet. When I need to read I just grab from the shelves.
I’m worry about Malaysia because I think Malaysia getting worse and hoping that Malaysia will be OK soon…
