It is a while since I update my blog. Today is the last day of April since it is my birthday month. As usual, I do treat myself with presents and celebrate with family and friends.
Plus, I watched the Avengers: Infinity War as part of birthday celebration and I enjoy watching the film, but I don’t like the way movie ended. Overall the movie is entertaining, but it got some censorship as I watched it in Malaysia.
Anyway, I wanted to wish all workers “Happy Labour Day”. Have a nice break 😉

Today is the last day of the year 2017. I wanted to wish all followers and readers “A Happy New Year 2018”. I hope next year is much better than the previous year.
As for myself, my New Year resolution is wanted to finish my study in 3 years. Also, I need to lose some weight than I gain in this year. I need to control the stress and need to exercise regularly.
Hehe… that my yearly resolution to lose weight but luckily I manage to maintain a healthy BMI.
Wishing all the followers and readers a happy Christmas.
Hope your holiday season is fun and festive… 😘
Atomic Blonde on UK double-decker bus
It’s been awhile since I wrote anything. I took a break for ten days from 22 until 31 August to travel to Europe before starting my PhD journey. While in Europe my Atomic Blonde CD arrived and luckily my brother was there to pick it up for me. I was happy to get the CD, but I wished it’s included all the songs that were in the film.
Back to my Europe trip, I went to six countries, and the countries are UK, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Switzerland and France. I always wanted to visit London and Paris ever since my late mother visited both countries when I was a kid; unfortunately, I don’t have enough time to explore my favourite cities because I went with a travel agency. The time is insufficient to explore, and I don’t get to climb the Eiffel Tower because Paris was our last destination before flying back to Malaysia.
According to the itinerary, the time to visit Eiffel is the next morning after check-in to the hotel. Luckily, the tours guide willingly to bring some of the energetic group to visit Eiffel Tower at night after we check-in. I was freaking tired, but love conquers all, I force myself to go and see Eiffel Tower. Finally, I managed to visit the most famous Eiffel Tower and the moment I was standing in front of the Eiffel Tower and enjoying the light show for about 5 to 10 minutes. Out of the blue in the background, my favourite song Careless Whisper instrumental accompanied the scenes. I think played by the street artist; I was so busy admiring the most iconic monument. It was perfect, and I wish to revisit France and also London.
I was back in Malaysia on 31 August and the next day was the Eid al-Adha celebration. I have a cold again. Unfortunately, I already saw a panel Doctor and told him that I need to be well before flying to Europe. Guess what the whole trip I was coughing, and my voice sounds quite bad. Currently, I’m in the process of recovering from the cold, and I learned from my mistake that it is better to see a private Doctor for fast and good medicines instead of seeing the panel physicians.
It is Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration and still on holiday break. So on the fourth day of Raya celebration, my brother and I went to Penang. As usual, we would go to Queensbay Mall Penang and survey the Robot Master action figure shop and Toys R Us.
We decided to watch a movie while we were there and it happens that Transformers: The Last Knight is showing in the cinema.
Overall the movie visual effects are good, but the storyline is quite not that impressive enough for my taste even it fills with actions and comedy. I think the movie is too long (2 hours 29 minutes) and it filled with unnecessary scenes that can be edited out to make it shorter around one hour something.
On Wesak Day, I got a day off from my hectic schedules. I took the opportunity to watch Alien Covenant. I’m not a fan of the Alien franchise, but I quite enjoy watching those previous movies. But the Alien Covenant is quite disappointing because for me it lacks thrilled and I almost fall asleep for the 30 to 45 minutes waiting for the action to come. The movie has too many dialogues and unnecessary drama from the characters especially from David and Walter (Michael Fassbender). Overall the movie is okay, but it lacks actions and the alien.
Today I decided to take a break for a couple of days in April. I’m so burned out with the workload. I wish I can spend my time travelling and read books.
On my free time, I read novels and currently, I’m reading a book called Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. I love the book and decide to collect all the series.
I watched the movie version last year and before that I have no idea the existence of the book. The reason I watch the movie is because I love Tim Burton films. His thoughts and works are so unique and brilliant. Its suit me well because I think people would agree to say that I’m also a peculiar person. I remember when I was an undergrad student, one of my friend felt weird when I bought Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride: An Invitation to the Wedding movie book. I don’t care what people think of me being weird liking Tim Burton works.
I hope there will be more movies to come based on the book series and Tim Burton films.
